Me, too! I forgot to mention the hockey games...

The figure skating, which I usually watch altho not so much at Turin, was the best I've seen in a long time.

The music chosen, the choreography, and of course the skating were almost universally excellent among the top contenders.

Kim Yu Na's long program was one of my favorite pieces of music.

I've always hated it when a piece of music is chosen, then the skater doesn't connect with it and/or the choreography doesn't match the music. Lost opportunity....

You had a busy, musical weekend!

Yes, I did have a busy, musical weekend, and it's going to go on for a while. Dress rehearsals Mon.-Wed., then performances Thurs.-Sat., with 2 on Saturday plus a solo & ensemble event; which means running to two different high schools all week rehearsing for THAT, plus opera rehearsals Tues. & Thurs. afternoons....

I must be nuts.:(
