Any TV show announcing in advance Sean Penn and Barbra Steisand and with an Alec Baldwin co-host equates IMHO to millions of TV sets in the off position.
Someone mentioned Hollyweird royalty in Lauren Bacall and the classy Oscars of yesteryear. Most are hardcore liberals - the only difference is that they kept their political views quiet back then, while today they no longer feel that need.
I’m not actually watchign the oscars...just enjoying the board...holly wood is non impressive for me for the most part...besides it is the 60’s crowd who still shows up there and they’ll keep coming til on their deathbed.
