The Hurt Locker was a farce, as an exmarine I can tell you that it was an imaginary fabrication with very little basis in reality.

I’ve had it with the Academy I will never watch their show again.

Easy ex soldier...just a movie and it does spotlight our troops...how be it indirectly...also it is Holly dumb wood...they always tweak even real life stories...BTW Thanks for you service...my one son served as a Marine as well.

99% of all war movies are unrealistic, as you know. In terms of realism, The Hurt Locker was an improvement over any Duke Wayne film (in terms of realism), but that’s not saying much. I saw THL as an entertaining war film with some great writing, not a documentary.
