Costa Rica and Panama, no, but Italy has crossed my mind.
Italy is probably among the most Socialist countries in Europe.
An odd choice, there. Is it for cultural reasons?

We are mortgage free, built here over 20yrs ago far far away from people in the rural life untill the good Lord takes us home or comes back which ever happens first.
You would not like Italy. One of my best friends just came back from there. She was there about 4 years. She could give you MANY reasons you don’t want to move there. It’s not cheap either and it’s dirty. Medical care sucks too.
