I mostly agree with you.

I just also believe that some of what is coming will be clear enough to believers, we will understand and share with unbelievers. After the rapture, for them, the unbelievers, it will be hindsight, and some will come to faith. How else will there be believers after the rapture, other than the preaching of the 144,000? As His coming gets closer, more will be clear to us. I do remember thinking that Christ was coming soon in the ‘80’s. Now, Jesus does look alot closer.

Watch and wait. We are on the watchtower, looking for our Lord!!

History is not on our side.

The Scribes and Pharisees - the religious leaders of the day - were SURE they knew what the Messiah was going to be like. They had their checklist - tribe of Judah, a descendant of David, born in Bethlehem, etc. - but they were looking for a political leader to overthrow the Roman occupation. They didn’t recognize Jesus because he didn’t fit their preconceptions of what the Messiah was supposed to be.

I pray that my sight be based on Divine revelation - not my human preconceptions of what I want Him to be.
