Well I did not really hear him getting booed until he put on the chisox hat..
He was booed throughout and the boos got louder with the White Sox cap. He was booed while shaking hands with the wounded military guys.

I did hear a “long continuous” boo prior to his putting on the cap. I think having the Chicago White Sox cap was a planned strategy to justify the anticipated booing.
