I haven’t seen BDU’s in at least 3 years.
They could have stolen the clothes or perhaps the military somehow got an aid package to him.
BDUs? In 2009 {the reported date} I am unaware of any branch [still] wearing BDUs. Even the National Guard got ACUs prior to 2008.
That alone piques at the consistancy.
Isn’t this the kid that was lured outside the wall by a friendly Iraqi?
He's terrified and probably will say or do whatever the barbarians want him to say or do. It's obviously staged to taunt the US. Perhaps they want to trade him for US Taliban prisoners? However, I doubt that they could be trusted to keep their end of any deal they would make with the US.
Just because the MSM tells us it is a captured soldier doesn’t make it so. You raise very good points to consider. I never completely trust what is reported in the MSM. It could be staged using an American Muslim convert and sympathizer, a soldier gone native, etc. Who knows at this point? All I know is the MSM are dupes and will easily and unwittingly report fraudulence as truth.
I questioned his first video and figured him to be a Taliban sympathizer.........he was in too good of health and too clean under the alleged circumstances.
“All I know is the MSM are dupes and will easily and unwittingly report fraudulence as truth.”
especially if it makes the military look weak or bad.
Yes sir; you are absolutely correct.
I said BDU’s since most people know what they are after being used for more than 20 years, as compared to ACU’s.
I don't think so, he is in Afghanistan being held by the Taliban
Where are the pics ? I can’t find any. TIA
Go to link and watch the video.
From what I’ve heard is that almost any US Army uniform item is available from the street sellers in Baghdad.
He looks too relaxed to me..not stressed at all!! An American POW would be tied up and not have as much freedom as he has.
The guy is in Afghanistan
I would expect that the uniforms could be gathered. In one case, all you need is a catalog from either the Cavalry Store in Radcliff, KY or from Ranger Joe’s outside Ft. Benning.
Rather like the streets of Saigon in 1967, where you could buy any article of GI clothing, still with the PX price tags attached.
Yep, And most of the supplies comes via port and truck route through Pakistan.
