I am not a "birther", but I also am not firmly convinced that Barack Obama has established that he was born in Hawaii, as he claims.
It seems to me that the issue might be pressed through the use of an authentic birth certificate of someone else born in Hawaii at about the same time. Are there any Freepers who were born in Hawaii at this time (August 1961) who have or can obtain a copy of their birth certificates?
If this question has already been posed, I apologize; I could not locate any reference to such a request here, nor have I seen this approach taken elsewhere.
The only way people are going to get him to release this version is to make it politically impossible for him not to.
My idea is to start a not for profit web site that solicits donations for the Kapiolani Childrens hospital (supposed birthplace of Obama) the sum total of the donation will be made in name of and to honor the doctor that brought into the world the first African American president and first president from the state of Hawaii. A wing of the childrens ward at Kapiolani to bear his name as proven and listed on the Certificate of Live Birth as verfied by the underwriters of the website where the donations are collected.
Depending on the amount of money solicited via this site will determine how much press interest will be given as pressure to force Obama to unselfishly allow the release of this document. The political pressure will be too great i.e., does Obama care so little for the babies at Kapiolani that he would selfishly withold this menial information, etc.
Anybody that is savvy enough can do this, I got 100 bucks to donate as soon as the site is up and running... We can make it go viral with Twitter, facebook, Youtube, etc a million dollars would be collected in a week or two at most.
I thought that birthers assert that Obama definitely was not born un the U.S. or is not a “natural born citizen”. That is not my position at all. In fact, I am on the fence, and not convinced either way. I assert that there is not enough available evidence to make a determination either way.

As another poster said upthread; this is a common misconception that the Obamabots want people to think.
A birther is simply one who has valid and legitimate questions over the circumstances of Obama’s birth.

Unfortunately it has been around for a very long time. These threads that deal with evidence end up becoming so large that all of the documentation gets lost.
Too many come on to debunk what is being stated and completely ignore these documents. What they are really trying to do is bury it. So, every once in a while I will insert them to give others that have not seen what we have been seeing.

Oh I agree that there’s too much smoke for there to be no fire, absolutely. But that’s not definite and people are still in denial. It’s easy to show that he doesn’t fit the other half of the equation...he could possibly have been born in Hawaii and yet that doesn’t make him eligible for the Presidency. Not at all!
Is this factual, or just another photoshop fraud on the internet? The answer to 6a is telling. Just look down to the note and see that he wasn’t born in Hawaii.
I fear this is just another fraud, but otherwise it would seem to be adequate evidence that he is not qualified (without even taking into account his father’s lack of U.S. Citizenship)

The Nordyke twins “Certificate of Live Birth” is the real thing. And they do not look much like that ‘magic ink’ fake. I say magic ink because typewriters of that era did not have ink that laid down as well as that fake.
Exactly - there has been talk that someone received information through a FOIA request to Hawaii that stated there was an amendment.....
Unfortunately, Hawaii is refusing to answer what this means! Maybe this is the Amendment or maybe there were more considering BO did supposedly use the name Barry Soetoro - so when did that name change occur and then change back to Obama.
Too much is not answered and all doors are closed!
I guess we should consider all documents posted on the internet as fake which includes the Certification of Live Birth that BO touts as the official document.
Which is real and which is fake? Long form BC should be submitted to the appropriate authorities for verification!
Still wouldn’t matter - he is a still a British citizen by birth as he states on his own factcheck web site. This means he can not be Natural born since he holds allegiance to another country.
I would add a request for anyone born in Hawaii in July or August 1961, to check and post your certificate numbers. It is very likely that the number on the alleged Obama COLB as photographed at fact lack dot org belongs to someone else. So far, there has been no realistic explanation as to why Obama’s number would be higher than the Nordyke twins when his certificate was processed by the state and published in the newspaper three days earlier.
