Time to lay off Mitt bashing? Mitt, Bachmann and Palin are the only ones speaking up?
(vanity)

Truth in advertising:

I've been an off and on, Mitt Romney supporter.

By and large, off. But I'm beginning to wonder if maybe Mitt deserves a second look.

Why would I want to lay off attacking RINOs like Romney and McCain?

“Romneycare will make him the endless victim of “he was for it before he was against it” attacks. The MSM would love it. He’s done.”

Scott Brown would probably disagree.

Romney is just trying to get the early lead all to himself, just like sexual pervert Rudy Giuliani did in 2007. That tactic kept the qualified candidates from even entering the race, leaving us with McCain.

I would never vote for Giuliani or Romney, just as I did not vote for McCain. Give me a qualified candidate or none at all.

Why would Brown disagree with that statement? Isn’t Brown capable of knowing something so basic about a national Republican Presidential primary climate?

Yes, and he probably knows something about federalism as well.

It is too early for a POTUS candidate to declare himself. A really good candidate can start campaigning fresh in January 2012 and break thru and replace all the tired old worn out Romneys and Huckabees out there.

So is Brown likely to agree or disagree with throwback’s statement?

Pretty much does not matter which one is picked, the Reps will screw it up.

He would have won the nomination in ‘08 had not Crist endorsed McLame at the last minute in Florida. And besides, he is more credible than any other candidate you have mentioned (i.e. no one). Everyone constant bashes Romney and puts up no one else as a realistic alternative.

Romney can kiss my a** as far as I am concerned. I don’t want any part of him or his politics.

I did not say that. But I do not think Palin is electable nationally.

No, Romney had his run and he lost, badly against the weakest competition possible.

Mitt Romney is a deeply disturbed man, most voters sense that and do not want him to be in the President’s chair.

Romney’s secret life as a Democrat, his anti Reagan/anti-Jesse Helms/anti Contract with America/anti conservative political history, his once secret fund raising for Planned Parenthood and Democrat candidates, Romney’s desire to homosexualize the American military, his 11 year history with Guatemalan, illegal aliens, his brutal attack on the dead President Reagan, all these reveal his concealed hostility to our conservative cause.

You continue not to name an alternative. Winning candidates rarely just appear overnight.

I don’t quite get the Brown twist on this. I assume Brown was for Romneycare, but opposed to Obamacare. So supposedly it’s a tenable position for Brown, so why can’t it be for Romney. Is that the point? My counter would be even if there are significant differences between the two health insurance reforms, the similarities are probably more than the differences. The media will scream hypocrite at Romney and make sure any differences are glossed over and the similarities are emphasized. Also Brown is playing in the Massachusetts sandbox, and Romney in the national one. Northeasterners are much more sympathetic to big government than other parts of the country.

No, you refuse to acknowledge any candidates or possible candidates other than Romney, which means that for you it is Romney, do or die.

You cannot dismiss candidates and front runners and keep pretending that they don’t exist.

LOL, we know that Romney isn't electable nationally, Romney doesn't win elections.

Palin wins elections and she does great once in office, having been the most popular Governor in America, compared to Romney's disturbingly low, Schwarzenegger like approval.

I look forward to seeing what Palin can do with a 150 million dollar primary campaign, like Romney did 2 years ago.
