Time to lay off Mitt bashing? Mitt, Bachmann and Palin are the only ones speaking up?
(vanity)

Truth in advertising:

I've been an off and on, Mitt Romney supporter.

By and large, off. But I'm beginning to wonder if maybe Mitt deserves a second look.

Where was Romney during the healthcare debate other than hiding behind the old crippled, Palin-hating bigot Charles Krauthammer and spinster K-lo of the worthless land of betas at NRO? Oh that’s right, the closeted jonathan martin breathlessly informed us that Romney “was strategically working behind the scenes”. Riiight. Why does Romney believe in man-made global warming and why does he want to tax me for it? Why did Romney allow or pay for republican strategists from his campaign to denigrate Palin to the media and to the electorate for the last 20= months, on a daily basis, from September 1, 2008(at the RNC Convention) to today? Why would I vote for this man after this? Is he a weakling or is he that morally corrupt to approve and allow this treatment of this completely honorable and noble blue star Mom, Sarah Palin?

Romney couldn't even beat Huckabee or McCain in a debate last time. Even now I'm lectured by all the analysts on fox-romney-news that Romney talks so brilliantly about economics and business and jobs, BUT HE DOESN'T! He can't even explain what makes the economy work and how jobs are created. He goes on MSNBC on Morning Joe, talks in circles and whines that “Obama hasn't created any jobs”. What? He sounds no different than a liberal democrat spouting Keynesian theory about Obama “needing to create jobs”. He should be talking about how businesses and private industry create jobs, not Obama and the federal government! That they need to to lower tax on corporations and investment and get out of the way. This is basic, boiler plate stuff. Econ 101. Its unbelievable. He's like this on every issue. Go back and listen to his Chris Wallace FNS interview and on Laura Ingraham earlier this year during his book tour. He's terrible. Its cringe inducing.

mitt is NOT one of us so bashing him is what must be done... he and his ilk have ruined the Nation and the Republican Party... to embrace mitt is to embrace liberalism.

I guess we’ve been labeled 98’ers by those who don’t understand politics, business and winning. FYI 1998 was the time of impeachment when the “unslick” one got their ass handed to them by Clinton, Carville and the forehead. Leaders lead and those that bash our leaders should just save their flames for the real enemies. Palin campaigned for McCain. Don’t bash her, just file it. Reagan picked a liberal senator for his VP in 1976, before the primary with Ford was over (which he lost anyway). I voted for him twice but some in this crowd just loves to turn their guns and frag our leaders. I do not count McCain, Huckelberry as our leaders but picking a presidential candidate is like conducting a job interview and right now Gov. Romney has my vote.

We will know who is in the running for POTUS as they step forward.

Why are you panicking? We have lots of time yet. Jimmy Carter was an unknown to most of us when he won the Democratic Primary. Sarah Palin stepped from an unkown to a VP candidate in one instant.

Panicking and letting the way too early polls dictate the candidates is what put the sexualy perverted Rudy Giuliani in the lead for so long and brought us the much despised John McCain as our candidate.

There are many possible candidates, most of them relatively unknown. Relax and let the system work as it is designed to.

Like last time? There’s always an early frontrunner. What’s different?

You impatient worry warts need to chill out and let the system work.

Last time, impatience for a name way too early on brought us the sexually perverted Rudy Giuliani, crowned our leader, by the corrupt Leftist mass media, with a small but persistent plurality of the votes. This discouraged any good candidates from running and resulted in the much hated John McCain as our candidate.

This time we need to only support qualified Conservative candidates, not the trash that ran last time, and simply be patient and let the system work the way it is designed to.

Two and a half years is not overnight. For gods sake, learn some patience, let the system work. We have plenty of time and thousands of potential candidates.

Impatiently jumping the gun and supporting one of the least offensive early runners in 2008 brought us McCain and a much deserved defeat.

The real conservatives saw we were not valuing conservative principals, as we supported one after another deeply flawed candidates, so no good candidates bothered to come forward.

Wait until a real conservative steps forward. One most certainly will, if we do not go off half cocked by supporting a really bad candidate like Romney or McCain, two and a half years before the election.

Sure there is always a front runner, but jumping on a lightweight candidate’s bandwagon is foolish. Always refuse to support all unacceptable candidates until an acceptable one steps forward.

Never support the least objectionable candidate when none are acceptable. When faced with a bunch of unnacceptable candidates, always refuse your support and demand better candidates.

Had we done so in 2008, we would have had a worthy candidate come forth and we would have won the Presidency.

It was our failure to follow this basic rule that brought us the 2008 mess.
