Greek Bailout Research Help

Posted on 05/11/2010 8:54:30 AM PDT by NCBraveheart

I have been listening to Rush & Beck the past week and they are saying that the IMF is insisting that Greece privatize health care, lay off gov't employees etc for the bailout. Obviously, th exact opposiite of our current course. I am unable to find a news story that states this and I would like to be able to cite documentation when I discuss this as it relates to the U.S. Does anyone know where i can get the proof of this from the IMF

Even the New York Times articles mention all this. The IMF also wants them to raise taxes which are high already.

Let me see if I can find a link.

Reduction in public funding for health care is not formally and specifically an element of the IMF plan. It is, however, a virtual necessity because of the required reductions in entitlement spending.

Kudos for wanting to do the research in an appropriate way. I am assuming you are doing this for an education project. You will do well in life!

I wish I could help, but I do not have the data you are requesting.

Does it say anything about the Greeks having to get jobs and to start waking up before noon?

I don’t like to argue a point without having documenation to back up my points....unlike most liberals who just shout names.

There is a strong correlation between undisciplined thinking, undisciplined behaviours and liberalism, isn't there?
