Boy, that Obama sure is a warmonger. I hope the Left don't let their rhetoric get out of control when criticizing his warmongering ways. Wait. Let me listen...

The Zero is such a Lefty, he's flashing back to the USS Ruben James, a destroyer the Nazis sank just before the the US entered WW2.

The leftist media made a big deal of it as - by then - Hitler turned on his pal Stalin.

In fact a known commie made a song about it.

This is a tricky situation for the Obama administration. Surely his comrades in Russia and China won’t like us getting involved.

The United States still has about 28,000 troops in South Korea to provide military support. The two Koreas, still technically at war, have more than 1 million troops near their border.

God speed our troops. I pray our commanders have tactical nuclear weapons or some other rapidly deployable method at the ready to neutralize that threat.

North Korea must be having trouble paying their troops, again.

A nuclear steel cage death match between a communist narcissist and a communist paranoid sociopath.

What could go wrong?

OK ... “U.S. military commanders had been told to work with their South Korean counterparts “to ensure readiness and to deter future aggression.”

WHoop. Dee. Do.

They ensure their readiness every day.

Has the DEFCON changed?

Is there any shift in commander’s intent?

Are there any new orders?/ changes to the ROE?

Pure Public Posturing by the Poseur in Chief.

What we need to be ready for is the millions of midget sized (due to generations of malnourishment) walking skeletons we’re going to find in NoKo when the dust settles.

Why the ^$&@$# would we get involved in that conflict? South Korea could take the commies out with the push of a button. Get out of the way and let them do just that instead of sending our own over there to die with their hands tied behind their backs in another PC war.

I expect Obama to start lend-lease assistance to Russia any day now.

Somehow I can’t see Obammy being “tough”.

It's not about him being 'tough'. It's a matter of where his loyalties are. N. Korea, after all, is communist.

what a load of bull$shit..the Obamunists are madder that the Norkies don’t allow gays in their military than that they sunk a South Korean warship.

I can’t imagine China wanting to see this since it would probably bankrupt us (their money) plus we are there biggest trading partner. But Russia could kill 2 rivals by coaxing NK into a war, and NK could stave off any unrest within country by rallying their people against the US. We are approaching the anniversary of the Korean War. In the early 90s we were at about this same point but we bought them off with aid. We don’t have that kind of money or influence now.

I have a some what different take on this. There has been much talkspeculation about bringing home many of the US troops deployed on the DMZ. Even some reputable conservatives have argued for this. Given our engagments all over the Mid East, the troops would be welcome. So, what’s the best way to keep them there, pounding sand on the DMZ...some type of incident. Now, no way could Obama brong ONE GI home without there being holy hell to pay..
