The press release from Sestak is pathetic. He is taking the hit which will be easy to slam him with in the campaign. I hope he realizes he just got thrown under the bus. Toomey should say he was willing to spill the beans had he lost the primary, but is under the thumb of the White House or else he’s just a bald faced liar.
Ok so Rush is marrying his girlfriend, 4th marriage, and she’s 26 years younger than him. Who wants to place bets on how long this one lasts? Sorry, I like Rush but this is just embarrassing.
so what did he negotiate for his falling on the sword? I cannot believe he wishes to be known as a liar.
isn’t this the one who was with him in Hawaii when he had his heart scare? while Rush is great on the radio talking politics, he is a fool in his personal life.
They are both consenting adults. I wish them the best of luck.
Of course, the odds on a fourth marraige lasting can’t be too good.

he is an absolute genius behind the IEB mike, one would think his personal life would be in order. ya never know.
I’ve often thought that if you are really good in one part of life, you may not be in another. Sort of nature’s way of evening things out.
Chances aren’t good that it will last. What I object to is Freepers pretending like it is so wonderful when they would be making fun of Larry King or any hollywood type marrying some young girl.
Rush has had his addiction, and many marriages....but dang, when he goes live on the radio he is magic. I can forgive him his failures. There might be something to the genius thing.....one area of his life IS in order.
Not up to me to forgive him in any capacity - I still say marrying someone young enough to be your child makes anyone look foolish. I’m not going to say it doesn’t just because I like his style or his knowledge or passion on the issues.
I think we agree it’s foolish. I never met Rush’s former wives, so I cannot opine on their worth. I wish him every happiness, for however long it lasts.

i have never understood old coots with young chicky wives/girlfriends. i mean i understand that the chickies want the $$$ and the old coots are trying to relive their lost youth with young hotness, but don’t they realize that everyone knows the deal and it doesn’t reflect well on either of them? The old coots don’t care that everyone is thinking, good Lord, you pathetic old coot, she wouldn’t spend 5 minutes with you if you didn’t have cash? they think, yeah i know i’m hideous, but i’m rich and that’s good enough? and the chickies are saying, yeah i know he’s hideous, but i have a hot stud stashed on the side and when gramps here croaks, i will have my $$$cake$$$ and eat it too? it’s just gross all the way around.
that sort of hypocritical stuff is rampant on FR. i don’t wish him ill, but am not going to waste my time wishing him well either, bc if he can’t think with anything other than his male member when it comes to women and marriage, he deserves whatever comes his way, be it heartbreak or financial consequences. that may sound mean, but dang, man, try to use better judgment in personal relationships.
