3 Nov. '98 ... lurker for at least three months prior to signing on. Attended FR March for Justice rally in Washington, DC Saturday, October 31, 1998. FReepers from all over the USA ... something in the vicinity of 5000 showed up ... nearly all the states had a contingent present.

Dec 5, 1997, although the official date, really isn't an accurate measure since that was the date when mandatory registration became active. Ann might have been here a lot longer. I arrived in early 96, I think.

I believe that Deb may be the longest-registered, still-active FReeper. FR has lost quite a few of its earliest members over the years.

Sep 28, 2000 — After a period of lurking.

My highlight was walking around D.C. in the wee hours after the FR inaugural ball broke up in January 2001. The city was very peaceful and covered in a beautiful blanket of snow.

It was the reign of Bill Clinton that brought me here.

The direction the country was headed, and the PC deprogrammming kept me.
