Just a heads up to our Midwestern Freepers to stay safe today!

These storms look like they'll get fired into the evening and overnight hours. No telling when and where they'll hit.

I’m hunkering down tonight. I have the radio charged and the flashlights ready in case the power goes out.

Just what we need. here on the NE side of Indianapolis we have gotten over 9 inches of rain in the last week with more on the way tonight. Our normal for the years is about 36-40 inches and we didn’t have an especially dry late Winter or early Spring.

Nebraska has had their share of rain/flooding and nasty storms, but Kansas has been hammered. Course Phillips county Kansas is only about 25 miles from me, and sits right on the south central border of Nebraska.

Keeps raining and keeps flooding.
