I think we are getting some outer showers of this thing now but should be gone in a couple of days.
I notice the DBM weather people are just salivating for the storm to hit NO. Desperate bunch.

At least the fruit in the first pic were mature enough to consume. Another year, the avocados were merely bullet-sized when the early season storm got 'em. What a waste!

Likewise the various governor’s mansion within the states falsely posing as Republican forms of government.

My yard has just recovered from Ike, not the big trees, I won’t live long enough to see them again. The lower bushes are back and I don’t have to look into my neighbors yard any more. I hate the thought of going through another hurricane. Two weeks with no electricity, a/c, traffic lights, gas pumps, fresh food at the grocery store, makes me want to take a 2 week vacation.

BUT I was thinking the other night while watching the Tropical Report, I’d rather live where I had hurricanes to worry about than live where I might have a forest fire or an earthquake.
