In my opinion, Mother Teresa is wrapped up in the bliss of God's cherishing embrace even now as we speak. And from that blessed vantage point --- again in my opinion --- she is praying for Hitch. That's the kind of person she was, and is.

In which case, in a highly paradoxical way, Hitch is privileged. He's gonna be whomped by a huge prayer-accelerated blessing at some point: his big chance to do a 180-degree turn and make a heart-felt plea: "Remember Me, Lord, When Thou Comest Into Thy Kingdom."

Let's all join the Angels & Saints team, and pray for that.

I’m really curious to know what you base this on. Because that’s not what He says.

I won’t go to any links about it, have seen too much cancer in my life.

But I will always pray for those who are nearing the end, that they recognize the Almighty and ask forgiveness for their sins and the harm they’ve done to others.

That is also in The Lord’s Prayer, a ‘rule’ that I believe in and pray each day. In the present time it’s an even harder thing to do.

It’s a little more likely to catch breast cancer early enough to treat it. It is in soft tissue where you can feel it and mammograms are done routinely. Renal cell waits longer to spread, but it is usually just dumb luck diagnosing it before it spreads. Once either spreads though it is pretty grim news.

My mom went with breast cancer. She had a normal mammogram and ultrasound so her doctor told her to just ignore the lump. The doctor was a great christian man but not a good physician.
