Talking on a cellphone and texting while driving are illegal in NY. Law enforcement is clamping down..bigtime.
I found out this works well years ago. Pumpkin pie was the all time favorite in my family and that’s what they would always ask for.
A friend at work grew huge pumpkins, and he would give me one every year. I’d use it to make pumpkin filling and then freeze the filling in pie pans. If you don’t have lots of pie pans and you have lots of filling - you just freeze, release and freeze some more.
Worked for me.
Last I heard, it was on the way to being illegal in here too.
After seeing that woman texting, I can certainly understand why it would be illegal and why anyone with any sense at all would even try to do it when driving.
It is a brutally hot day here...its still 97 here.
Do have air conditioning?
We didn't do very much outside today.
All I did was take care of the horses, chickens and dogs. There was no gardening today because the garden is located on the south side with no shade.
And I just got in from a weekend in Memphis. Good weekend but no internet. It is rather presumptious for someone to make their dixieland debut in Memphis. Just sayin’.
Saturday night a close friend took us out to an absolutely fabulous restaurant, Texas de Brazil. It was a dining treat and an Atkins treasure. Afterwards, we strolled through the bottom floor of the Peabody. I could adjust to life at the Peabody. Golly gee!
I’m a child when it comes to fireworks. Last night’s display did not disappoint.
But it is good to be home.
Good to have you back.
I wish I could have been there for you debut.
FReepmail.
It was not good. I was sight-reading and I don’t do that well.
But it was fun.
By your standards not good, but I’m sure by others you were great.
You are kind but in truth - not. I totally missed many runs and at one point totally got lost. It was fun and I’ll do it again. But I would love to have more time to practice.
Fun is what really matters!
Yes. I’m still catching up with other people’s weekend activities. I’m horrified about the parade tragedy in Iowa. It is unbelievable.
Yes. It’s so sad.
George soros and the muslim play the “waiting game” well.
Good evening!
I’m still catching up after my excursions of the weekend.
But, I did water the rose garden. I did lose some potted plants (non-roses). We need rain.
Next year we’re puttung tule aroung the lower branches and capturing as many of the peaches as we can, providing they are as prolific as they’ve been this year. They have been wonderful. I’ll do as you suggest, for Roomey and our Texas friends. I love fresh peaches, and bellinis, but cooked...they just don’t taste the same.
What a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
