I got mine from a gentleman going through a divorce. Mine is TRW parts in the National Match configuration. My serial # is under 32XXX. It came with one of those synthetic stocks but I replaced it with a Tiger Birch one I got from Fred's.
I topped it off with the correct scope mount and an SA marked rangefinding scope.
If I can see it, I can hit it.
I've got several rifles in my safe but if you ask me which is my favorite, it's the M1A hands down.
I have been considering putting a scope on it but love shooting from the iron sights.
I just love outshooting guys next to me, at the range, with scopes.
I have thought about a scope for those shots over 300yrds.
