This is Cullman, Alabama. Ultra-conservative, very rural area with a high density of elderly. We used to joke that it was the law that grandparents were required to move to Cullman. Telling a local preacher to take it or leave it would not be good for business overall, and don't you think that the manager (who also probably lives in Cullman) knows that?

I'm not saying I agree with anything in this article, I just thought I'd explain a little bit about Cullman.

The manager quite possibly does know that, and since you ar familiar with the area, I'll defer to your judgement. OTOH, the Wal-Mart chain is huge. To bend for a single person who complains about a product's packaging is silly. Perhaps the complaint should have been to the manufacturer.
