I read the statistic once that 3/4 of Goldens put up for adoption are young males. They are lively, bouncey, energetic even when they are totally normal and have always been treated with love and affection. They are a lot like a 3 year old boys -- full of curiosity and energy and don't always know their boundaries. And we know what kindergarten teachers try to do to them!

I love Goldens.

Goldens - especially males - pretty much remain puppy-like for most of their lives. As you said, more than some people can handle. It would be nice if people actually did some research about dog breeds before buying one.
