President Ubama has announced a comprehensive program to ensure the safety of U.S. naval vessels. Beginning immediately, Naval Engineering Czar Moe Howard will initiate a system designed to make the U.S. ships unsinkable.
Mr. Howard said the program will introduce the radical concept of water letter outers into each ship. Naval Design Czar Larry Fine said he was inspired to create the water letter outer system when he realized that the best way to let water out of a sinking ship is to drill a large hole in it.
Naval Defense Czar Curly Howard has procured large drills and hydraulic hammers to facilitate the effort. He plans to begin the program with his namesake destroyer, the U.S.S. Susquehanna Hat Company.
President Ubama said the program is a response to bruits of attacks against U.S. shipping in foreign ports. “I am proud to live in a nation where Moe, Larry, and Curly can take charge,” said Mr. Ubama.
