"People on Federal Probation can do whatever the judge and PO allow."

This isn't a question about if a federal judge would be amenable to the father's close proximity to POTUS. It's a question about the Secret Service's approval about who does or does not have immediate access to the sitting president. This is one of the rare instances where the Executive Branch (vis-a-vis the Secret Service), trumps the judiciary because of national security. A federal judge can't issue an order demanding the President eat with someone.

Good point, but a sitting president wasn’t there. And I think Bill has broken bread with this guy before...

You’re only referring to Dem prez’s, right? After all, federal judges are omnipotent, just ask any one of them, especially Bolton.
