Bi-Polar seems to be more common in girls. I am not sure why. I knew an 18 year old who suffered from it. She was really sweet natured but her boyfriend once told me she could turn mean and it would totally come out of the blue. I remember she had a prescription for Xanax which I guess is prescribed for that.

She was a devout Christian but I knew she was going to have problems. Sure enough she is now 36 and has had a pretty messed up life.

Women are allowed to be this way, for one it is in their makeup. Somedays you can talk to them on the phone, and they are real cheery and then they come home and it is a different woman.

Bi-Polar seems to be more common in girls.

One of my two son's is BiPolar. There is no cure, but it can be effectively managed with therapy and the right medications.
