If this were a Republican administration the corrupt MSM would be screaming at such a feverish pitch blaming the Administration and talking about abject human misery — story after story, night after night. It would be wall-to-wall doom and gloom and blame.

But this is Obama, and the corrupt MSM, although not directly helping, are being silent about how bad things are. This means that while they have lost confidence in Obama they would never overtly turn on him.
