I like Starbucks coffee but I refuse to use their language. I always say a “medium half decaf and half regular, no cream”. Never been thrown out. There’s more to the story.

Me too. I wouldn't go out of my way to go to a Starbucks but if I'm in an airport or somewhere where that's all there is I order a "large coffee".

I was working in downtown Chicago 2 years ago, just off of Rush street (VERY trendy and VERY expensive)

The guy I worked with an I, would get to the job and walk a few blocks over for coffee and a roll every morning. He just HAD TO HAVE his Starbucks coffee. He'd rave about it, and tell me about the oils and such, and the best way to make it...yada, yada, yada.

I'd walk ANOTHER block down and get a Dunkin' Donuts coffee and doughnut.

I CAN'T STAND Starbucks swill. It tastes like burnt, over roasted crap to me. What I hate EVEN MORE, are the pretentious people who work there and buy there, and think that Starbucks is just sooooo great. LOOOONG before I had a Starbucks coffee, I surmized it was nothing but a shallow, trendy place, for shallow, pretentious people. After going the first time, I figured I was spot on. I tried it a couple more times just in case I had a bad cup the first time. I did.
...And the second...and the third...and the fourth.

The only time I've had a good cup of coffee in a Starbucks, is when I brought in a Dunkin' Donuts coffee.
