“INCEPTION was awesome. ‘

Lot’s of people loved this movie. I thought it was OK, but I fell asleep. It got a little too long and redundant I thought.

Cage is a good actor, great even, if he has good material to work with. But he sure makes a lot of sh*t movies!

Lonesome Dove is an annual must set a day aside to watch... it used to take longer to watch but now I fast forward through the scenes with Deets in them

TT

"Best Western?"

Although not best western "ever", - 3:10 to Yuma, last year's remake with Russell Crowe and Christian Bale, was the best western I've seen in a long time. Although most of what I read about Crowe makes him seem like a jerk, the guy can act.

How did Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” miss this list. Easily the worst movie I’ve seen in years.

And Steve Carrell thinks he’s going to have a career after “The Office?”

See Dinner With Schmucks. It is a very funny movie and Carrell is brilliant in it.

You gotta give “Lonesome Dove” a shot at the title.

Different medium and format, but, yes, one of the greatest. Outstanding cast from top-to-bottom led by Duvall and Tommy Lee Jones. Even that a-hole Danny Glover was great. Oh yeah, I've watched it start-to-finish about ten times.

“Once Upon a Time in the West”, “The Good The Bad and the Ugly”, “El Dorado” are right up there.

Another oldie but goodie: Winchester 77 with Jimmy Stewart. Gotta love a flick with a character named High Spade.

“Once Upon a Time in the West”,

This may have been Henry Fonda's best work. He went against type and created one of the best movie villans ever.

Agreed, he was downright creepy.

Honestly, I thought Bounty Hunter was kind of cute. And I liked the way it had no nude bedroom scenes or hardly any profanity, if any.

The Expendables is probably the best movie of the year so far if just for the awesome cast and carnage.

“Legion” was the suckiest film of 2010.

As for “Clash of the Titans”, couldn’t they at least cracked open a copy of Bulfinch’s Mythology and gotten the relationship between Perseus and Io correct? It’s just wrong for Perseus to pair up at the end of the movie with his own grandmother.

What did “Legion” cost? It had to be less than “The Blair itch Project”.

I guess my wife and I were the last two people in the country to see Avatar this past weekend.

Ferngully, with better animation.

Inception was good.

Other than that, the movie trips have been a little thin this year.

The Searchers was JW’s favorite role, and is at times considered films first antihero.

I saw a couple of movies that I liked but perhaps they were from ‘09 -— saw them on DVD —

Julie and Julia

An Education (British film)

That’s IT for me thus far this year.
