I can vouch for that...I was an M1A1 Abrams platoon leader on the last REFORGER in '92. I remember cresting a ridgeline in my tank, and as I did so, there was a warthog right in front me that just seemed to hover there for several seconds before rocketing over top of me. All I could think was how grateful I was that they are ours.
