I enjoy the community, and have met some very nice and even like minded people here.

I am a vet, retired USAF. My Grandfather fought the Huns in France, my father fought the Japs in the South Pacific, my Uncle - horribly wounded at Anzio while fighting the Nazis.
My son just finished a tour with the Corps, with two tours in Iraq, one in Cuba and he also ‘worked’ in several other continents.

Why do I say this? I’d like to think my family has earned the right with their blood, sweat and tears to be a little critical of what this Nation has become.

I may be old, but I sure as hell ain’t stupid. AS a taxpayer, I think some pols must think I am pretty stupid.
