Let us not forget that much of the left is getting government funds in one form or another.
George Soros. A Jew who worked with the Nazis to round up his own people for extermination. Yup, a real humanitarian. His wealth came from stolen Jewish property confiscated by the Nazis that he got his hands on after the war. A real self made man. What an inspiration to us all.

The real movers and shakers on the Left share most of the same traits. They have some deep pain which has caused them to be bitter, to deny God and to hate mankind. (Actually, it sounds a lot like the way Satan is described in the Bible: Fallen from grace, and roaming the earth seeking whom he may devour.)
They persuade themselves that they could make the world a tolerable place if they could just convince, or force, people to live a certain way. But to achieve this, they must eliminate the troublemakers, the doubters, the obstructionists. And they must destroy the system, the network of people, organizations, and ideas which create the inertia of the current way of life.
This inertia is epitomized by the United States, with its optimistic view of life and liberty, and its foundation of religious principles. They make themselves enemies of everything that sets the United States apart from most other countries.
They dedicate themselves to the overthrow of the U.S. Government, the Constitution (especially the Bill of Rights), and belief in the God of the Bible.
For them, lying and deceit are acceptable. The end justifies the means. They do not enjoy life, except in the constant pursuit of the overthrow of the system. Every waking moment is devoted to this cause, and so it is with their resources.
They surround themselves with two kinds of people: The inner circle of like-minded destroyers (very few), and the outer circle of useful idiots.
The useful idiots are like the groupies that follow rock bands. They are not sold-out believers in total destruction, but they have a certain area of life which they think would be enhanced by destruction of some part of the system (such as restriction of speech, religious practices, or gun ownership, or elimination of laws against immorality or drug use). They will devote their own energy and resources to the Left as long as they see that some progress is being made towards their own pet project.
The useful idiots can be trained and placed in positions of prominence, authority, and responsibility. Like Obama and all of his assistants and appointees. And all of the liberal politicians, journalists, and academia. All useful idiots.
The program of the Left is a slow process of attrition. It is the gradual elimination of knowledge, liberty and religious principles. But at some point, a tipping point is reached. Then, a catastrophe such as economic failure can bring the whole house down. We are on the brink of that economic failure, thanks to overspending by the useful idiots. They could not have succeeded without the dumbing down of the electorate, the handouts from government which have been used to buy the votes from the selfish and ignorant, and the promotion of class divisions in society.
We are at the point of life or death.
