I figured out how we won WWII watching Hogan’s Heroes. The country is safe after I watched Get Smart. Gunsmoke and Bonanza are better than shows on that list.
How about the Prisoner? First season F-Troop (esp. those directed by Charles Rondeau). Any episode of Hogan’s Heroes directed by Gene Reynolds (who also did MASH). Black Adder. I don’t agree with many of those on the top ten list. I agree with most of those on your list Pissant.
Yeah allow at least one show literate enough to reference Samuel Beckett, William Burroughs, and Arthur Miller in the jokes without assuming the audience needs background explanation
