All in the Family hasn’t aged well. Norman Lear was too heavy-handed inserting his politics in the show, and now it’s boring to hear Archie and Meathead argue about some long forgotten issue from the 1970s.

Archie's daughter, Gloria, shouts out statistics about how many people are killed by guns. Archie: "Would it make you feel any better if they were pushed outta windows, little girl?"

Abortion
Gun control
Gay rights
Religion
Islam (yes, in one episode.)
Israeli-Arab relations
Racism
Reverse discrimination
Party politics
Communism
Socialism
All long forgotten, right?
