It's possible to get a pretty good 'read' on individuals after watching these shows for a season or two, despite the editing and 'production'. Easy to define the 'stars', the assholes, the arrogant, and the immature.

One could tell that Matt was a consummate and dedicated professional, no way a poser. You could also see in his eyes that he was a tender-heart, at times quite vulnerable and maybe suffering inside.

So tragic.
