Lovely family - but I’m thinking there are some little ones who would really enjoy soacializing in that environment.
I attend professional sports games - and I don’t particularly like sports or follow along. I go there to be with family and friends, to laugh and enjoy “the show” and the food and the music, etc...
Seems like a toddler would enjoy those things too. Our family has taken toddlers to St. Louis Cardinals games and they enjoyed their time there as much as I did.
Much depends on the situation. I would have no problem taking my kids (when they were small) to those types of events. But I also watched them and made sure they did not get close enough to the railings at the stadium.
I have also seen kids let loose once they arrived at an event. Only the grace of God kept them from getting hurt.
My middle son was the one I had to watch like a hawk. He was born a thrill seeker. I will never forget going to Watkins Glen when he was about 10. My husband would let go of his hand & let him run ahead or stand up against the wall and look over. I'd get mad and bitch, My husband would get mad and say nothing is going to happen. I'd remind him that this was the kid who figured out how to get on the roof by standing on the deck railing. (I looked up one day and there he was on top of the garage.) He had no sense of danger. LOL! We never went back to Watkins Glen.
