Sarah Palin Wants Christine O'Donnell On Next 'Dancing With the Stars'

Sarah Palin was not only playing the role of proud mama grizzly last night when she sat in the front row cheering on daughter Bristol Palin in the finale of 'Dancing With The Stars' -- she was also playing casting director, lobbying the show's producers to consider signing up her Tea Party pal Christine O'Donnell for next season.

"Sarah is a genius at marketing herself and her message," an insider tells me. "She doesn't care about all the old rules about how political people are meant to behave and act. Sarah believes the best way is to go directly to the people -- use Twitter, Facebook, 'Dancing With the Stars' and 'Entertainment Tonight' to get potential voters excited and leave 'Meet The Press' and those boring Sunday morning shows to the old-school politicians."

And with the success of her own reality show, 'Sarah Palin's Alaska,' and Bristol stunning everyone with the fact that she is still in the 'Dancing' competition, Sarah might be onto something. Plus, who else are the 'Dancing' producers going to get after Bristol?

"Christine is not a bad idea at all," one ABC executive tells me. "After Kate Gosselin and Cloris Leachman, O'Donnell would fit right in. She certainly would be so controversial that the amount of press attention and buzz the show would get would be huge. Plus, you know they would make her dance in a witch's hat with a broomstick."

Sarah, if this political thing doesn't work out for you, you should think about a career in casting. Seriously.

LOL. Maybe you’re a troll. You certainly suffer from PDS, because you ought to know that TLC replays the show several times during the week in the same time slot M-F so viewers now know that they don’t have to watch it on Sunday night exclusively.

Like DUH!

Viewership dropping significantly after the first episode of any new show is a very common occurrence.

Viewership dropping significantly after the first episode of any new show is a very common occurrence.

Especially when there are two other big shows on at the same time as the second installation of the new show.

Last week had some football games on too and she managed 5 mil. I think that 3 million is about right. The extra two million last week was for curiosity sake.

Personally, if were gonna put a conservative gal on Dancing with the Stars, I think it ought to be S.E. Cupp. She's already a trained ballet dancer, and boy howdy...who wouldn't tune in for those gams!

Oh, my gosh. Low blow. ‘Duh’ is an accepted part of the language. It says so much.

Instead of saying, ‘that statement is so ridiculous it makes me want to stick a fork in my neck, or maybe your neck, you can just say ‘duh.’

Pretty much says it all.

But enough of the trashy TV shows, ok?

She hasn't done any yet, so you can put the "concern" away.

The best thing Christine O'Donnell could ever do for the Conservative cause is to go away and never come back. If Palin is actually pushing this, that doesn't speak well of her judgment.

+1! Full Agreement - O'Donnell is awful, her judgment terrible (I'm not a witch? Seriously?). She is a lifetime live off the campaign / political system person. She will now do all she can to live off being a political loser. And the MSM will push and tout O'Donnell all they can, as they know she comes off awful for the "conservative/GOP" movement.

People are much more tired of that compulsive liar, and God-awful, incompetent Governor, Mitt Romney.
