We’re still an hour to hour and a half out. Music quit again. And it’s so warm outside the heat wasn’t coming on so I had to switch on the fan to get air moving in the house.

I didn’t use the buses on my visit a couple of years ago.

Yup. We’re not usually this early, but several things are bringing it together. We’re at the estimated time for the turkey, so now LoM and TYS will be checking it. (My job is merely to shovel charcoal.) We had a bit of a slowdown in the second hour, so who knows?

So how was your dinner?

We just talked with family in California. They were wrapping up dessert.

It was excellent. Lamb, spaghetti squash, roast potatoes, brussells sprouts, and butternut squash soup. We are now running some Offspring through the wash, and contemplating apple cobbler, which is sitting on the stove “settling” after an hour in the oven.

It came from Firebirds Restaurant. One of our Boy Scout leaders is a chef there, and they gave him hundreds of 12x14” frozen cobblers when they took it off the menu. The Boy Scouts sold them for a fundraiser ($5 each, since there was no overhead) and we bought several and gave them away, only one left. I haven’t decided if I’ll have any - it seems to be oooooooozing sugar.

My dinner is done, and I’m very nearly done it by it, myself.

Everything absolutely delicious! I’ll have to digest some before there’s room for coffee!

Good morning. It has snowed 2 or 3 inches. A few flakes still falling, 28 degrees. Choir practice is cancelled.

Possible snow in forecast here ca. Wednesday. The alert is still up, but the forecast has slightly shifted warmer. Who knows?

30 here now, snow still falling. At noon, we’ll decide whether we’ll go to church with a few children. Anoreth was going to stay home with her Plague anyway.
