...God has no need for a space ship. Nor will we once separated from our mortal flesh.

I could answer that, but don't want the antis trashing the thread.

Without pursuing any points of disagreement, I’d like to address HK’s main point, which is that a life with God is not boring now, and will not be boring as Eternity moves along to the parts that will be totally novel. We were created to learn, imagine, develop, discover, adventure, and co-create all sorts of thrilling things.

A good life is interesting, because the world is interesting and the people in it - like all of you - are interesting. You could spend a whole life (and many have) on the Greek classics, or discovering new fungi, or attempting to raise a giant squid in captivity.

Evil people are, in a manner of speaking, retarded. They have so little inside themselves that they have to torture stray cats, or kill millions of Jews, in order to keep from facing their own lack of interior resources. Theodore Dalrymple, the British writer, has observed that the criminals and welfare mothers he treats seem to have nothing inside. They have no education worth mentioning, no interests, no activities that are upbuilding to themselves or others ... just boredom, which they attempt to fill with criminal activity, drink and drugs, abusive relationships, and television.
