The No Smoking sign is in English and Arabic (Syria has/had lots of street signs etc in both languages)
The writing along the back wall is arabic.
The girl probably isn’t German but a Syrian Christian.
Since people are not bundled up in winter clothing it probably isn’t from New Years .
