“Why can’t a convict be in the NFL? Should convicts be allowed to work at all?”

I was pointing out that the NFL allows and even encourages people who have done much worse than this coach.

Rape, wife beaters, dog killers, druggies are all NFL star EMPLOYEES.

“How much more debt to you does Michael Vick have to pay? How much does he owe you?”

He doesn’t owe me anything. I thought he was scum before his arrest and nothing has changed. So I choose not to buy their product.

You have a point, and it’s one that most people choose to ignore.

Players in the NFL are role models. Heck, their pictures are on the walls of teenage kids. Youngsters often wear their jerseys to school. It’s not the same as being a grocery store clerk or a bus driver.

I’m not saying that ex-felons should be banned from the NFL.

But I am saying that when this devolves into ex-felons and accused rapists playing against other ex-felons and accused rapists, that’s bad for society.
