This was as disgusting as it gets in the NFL. the video here says it all:

New York low-life shows why he's a complete scumbag.

Just sickening. I hope he reaps what's he's sown.

It gets much much worse than that in the NFL. Heck they allow convicted felons to be quarterbacks.

This guy needs to be fired and banned from the game for life.

At least he “cheated” on the spur of the moment lapse of judgement and out of frustration. No where does it even come close to the disgusting actions of the Patriots’ planning and scheming for years on how to cheat themselves into a couple of Super Bowl victories. MUCH, MUCH bigger stain no matter how you slice it.

And don’t bother, not a fan of either team.

Hmm, doesn’t look like a trip to me. I was expecting him to stick his foot out. The Jet coach appears more like he’s holding his ground.

Really? He stood his ground on the sideline OUT OF BOUNDS.

He didn’t whip his leg out to trip the guy - he didn’t stick anything out further than it was to begin with, he just didn’t move out of the way.

At least, in the video I saw.

Now, was it smart? No. Should he be disciplined? Yes. If the other guy wants to sue for any lost time/wages, I’d say yup, he’s got grounds.

But the player was OUT OF BOUNDS. On the other teams sideline. He should have re-entered the field of play immediately - then continue on down for the return.
