83 Eldorado Biarritz or 66 Pontiac Catalina convertible. Man’s most beautiful creations, next to the Tiger Tank and the Thompson Sub-gun.

Can't forget the P-51 Mustang

I would not get a new vehicle either. Buy one about 2-3 years old with 30k-50k miles for about half the price of a new one.

30-50k miles is too much for a 2-3 year old car. 20-35k is more like it.

Found a car for my mom 8 yrs ago, a '99 Buick Century Limited. 4 years old at the time, with 19,000 miles on it. Got it for 40% the cost of a new one, and with only 19k it was almost like brand new. Now it has 110k, and has been a very good car for my mom.

My fave was always Christie Brinkley.

Blondes. Weakness. Like kryptonite.

The green stuff.

My mother only ever leases (car dealers in the family), and for the last 10 years she’s driven nothing but Honda CRVs. Every time her lease is up, she turns it in for the new model, and she’s only gotten happier with it.

I’ve had occasion to put car seats in it, and it was very easy getting kids in and out. The only thing I found disconcerting about driving it was how sensitive the brake pedal was. At slower speeds the dang thing always seemed to stop on a dime no matter how gently I pressed the pedal.
