There’s a movie coming out this year called “Battlefield: Los Angeles.”
The storyline is this: The U.S. Marine Corps goes into full combat mode against alien beings who are attacking Los Angeles.
The aliens in the movie, by the way, are from outer space, not from Mexico.

The state has been cutting funding for maintenance of levees for at least 15 years.
To add to the problem, floodplains have been “redesignated” for political reasons rather than scientific ones and tens of thousands of homes built in them.
The whole area between the Sacramento airport and downtown has been under 15 feet of water in the last 20 years, but politics allowed the area to be fully developed. Redesignate the property and suddenly HO insurance is available for land where they should never have built anything that wasn’t on high pilings.
I wonder how many politicians or their friends owned property in this area that suddenly increased in value by orders of magnitude.
I have no doubt similar shenanigans have taken place elsewhere in the state, although this is the only one I’m familiar with.
The will also recommend that everyone abandon their vehicles and ride bicycles, live in caves, and don’t wear anything that is not made from bamboo. All oil wells in the US should be capped and we should only buy oil from the Arabs so they can fund more terrorists to kill polluters. They also recommended in a footnote that if you make over one billion dollars per year or if you are a multinational star you may drive a limo and have a private jet plane to fly around your laundry and special foods.
In addition everyone should eat a vegetarian diet and cut your calory intake to 1200 calories per day.
To implement these recommendations every man, woman, and child in the US should be taxed 50% of their income from whatever source. But some will have the opportunity to squeal.

What modern man has failed to acknowledge is that the Earth is in a constant state of CHANGE (Growth).
The ground is constantly moving beneath our feet, yet most of the time it is so slow, we rarely notice.
The ‘weather’ is just another one of the factors which cause the surface of the Earth to change.
It cannot be stopped. One day we will learn that.
They probably think (correctly) that mentioning GloBull Warming will hurt their chances of achieving their objective.

They got it to work a long time ago. Russia did too. They had it on for years, but it is now shut off.
They were able to CHANGE the JETSTREAM, but not CONTROL it.
This threw the Jet Stream 'out of sync' with the natural patterns that had been established.
So now... we have 'atypical' weather. There may be other High power low frequency transmitters in use (there are reported to be 5 known, and 20 suspected HAARP type sites worldwide) so they may still be effecting the Jet Stream. We (the public) just don't know.
OR something much worse.
I predict there is going to be a drought.
Let’s see which one of us is right first.
I'm not sure we would even notice if the magnetic poles swapped, other than having to hold your compass upside down.
I guess it depends on how 'fast' it changed.
It's just great that they came up with something ORIGINAL. Those writers are geniuses, I tell ya.
