I agree. I’m drawn to Palin because, when I don’t hear a liar when she opens her mouth, as I do with just about every other politician I can think of (not to mention I happen to agree with what she says, of course!).
For Palin to “figure out” what she needs to do to appeal to “independents” suggests that she throw her own beliefs out the window and “moderate” herself to appeal to a bunch of goofballs who are probably too scared to vote for her anyway...and that’s exactly the WRONG thing to do because it IS dishonest.
And, of course, that touches on the big problem our party has. As Rush has said a number of times, if people in our party just stood up and said what they believe instead of worrying about what the deranged left and media is going to say about them, we’d win in a landslide. But they don’t.
Thankfully, Palin isn’t like them, and it looks like we might actually have a Presidential contender who isn’t just saying: “how can I make everyone like me TODAY?”.
Oh, you mean like the public has toward CNN?
Like maybe even when (PMS)NBC is beating youse guys?

Those who hate Sarah Palin the most do so because of their own guilt. In her they find a reminder of their own failings and shortcomings; they strike out hatefully because of their guilt!
Like Shakespeare once said, or at least wrote, “In time we hate that which we often fear”.
A great point that the left intentionally ignores. Palin is 100% honest, the same cannot be said of Obama.
Steady up and buck up, we’ve a long way to go.
Is that part of their strategy? Just like a radio station playing a top 40 song in “heavy rotation”, they are hoping we will grow tired of a beautiful, warm, sincere, conservative, proud American if they just keep talking about her? I’m happy to see them keep this up until her inauguration on January 20, 2013, when America again will become a free country worthy of the Founding Fathers and the unbroken line of patriotic generations who passed this country on, each in better condition than they found it.
If they truly did not fear her. If they truly did not think she had the ability to take a campaign all the way to nomination. If they truly thought she was “stupid” - then they would not even be talking about her at all.
I am tired of my freedom being under attack all the time. I am tired of my taxes being spent on immoral activities like committing abortion, and at the same time being demonized by my government as being "rich". I am tired of my government printing its own money. I am tired of companies in bed with the federal government.
I am tired of the fed government preventing us from being energy self-sufficient in the name of a lie like global warming. I am tired of the concept that the federal government has to give anyone permission before they do anything.
I am sick and tired of unconstitional, oppressive big government, Gloria, and the media that supports it.
I am so tired of it, in fact, that I will write Sarah Palin's name on the ballot in 2012, even if it isn't there.
It really should be called Democrat Party News. They're tired of Palin. What a surprise!

Not to be disrespectful, but, your wife sounds wishy washy. Sounds like she isn’t strong enough to stand up to a “lefty” friend. Maybe she should get new friends?
Its the left who keep her name out there. There isn’t a day that goes by that her name isn’t mentioned negatively one way or the other. That is their goal - to beat her down so that she won’t run.
Do you think zero isn’t aware of the crowds she draws when she speaks? He has to manufacture an audience - she doesn’t.
Women who don’t like her are more than likely, jealous. Yep, I said it - jealous as he**.
I also suspect that the WH is behind this smear campaign. They send their talking pints every day to the lamestream media, who open their stupid mouths and comply with the memos given them.
Sarah has done nothing to deserve this hate. And, I feel sorry for those who continue to persecute her. God is on her side, and when they persecute her, they persecute Jesus.
Maybe you aren’t a believer, and, that’s ok. But, I know what the Bible says, and for those who hate Sarah - its really Jesus in her that they hate. Remember, he was crucified without cause. He did nothing wrong, but, was put to death on trumped up charges. The enemy doesn’t change his tactics too much. In fact, those who spew their hatred are doing their god’s work. (I mean the devil).
Your wife needs to stand up to her so-called friend. Let that friend wither get beaten down.No one tells me who or who not to support. And, if someone is constantly spewing hatred about another, I have to wonder what the real reason is, especially if that person has done nothing to deserve being hated.
It is very simple. Liberals/Progressives hate Sarah Palin because she didn’t kill Trig, and she didn’t make Bristol kill Trip. Plus she is beautiful; loves her husband; works with her husband; he loves her; he is a hunk..... It is really too much for them to take. She is everything they aren’t and that they have been trying to tell America doesn’t matter and shouldn’t be.
