There’s always a first time..:)
There is a potential for the Packers to blow out the Bears but the Bears definitely will not blow out the Packers. Likewise there is the potential for the Steelers to blow out the Jets but the reverse isn’t true. Therefore I believe the odds are that the Steelers and Packers will play for the SB. If one of the other teams squeeks by in the conference championship, they will likely lose in the SB. This may be the year for the Packers to win again because they are hitting on all cylinders.
The Steelers-Jets game will be the better of the two. Steelers will either blow up the Jets or it will come down to the wire. The Steelers have a bad habit of really stupid penalities at the worse times.
Of course, the Super Bowl is the NFL Championship Game which has been played since the beginning of the NFL. The Steelers did not even appear in the game from their founding in 1933 through 1973. Since then, much better.
As long as the Jets lose today everything else will be ok
Still holding out hope that Lucy will actually allow Charlie Brown to kick that football, are you...???
Cough, cough!
Thanks! LOL
What about Super Bowl XXX?
Everything Baraq touches turns to sh!t.
As soon as I heard him pledge to be @ the SB if Chicago wins, I knew the Bears were in trouble.
And of course with the Rooneys being huge Baraqqi supporters, I expecting Pitt to be similarly tainted, LOL.
Packers have won 4 straight against NY Giants, Bears, Eagles, and Falcons. Bears win last week against Seattle team that was 2-6 in road games, gave up average 29 points in those games, and lost by average of 10 pts is pretty meaningless.
Bears scored total of 1 offensive touchdown against the Packers in two games this year. In the last game, Packers played tight because they had everything to lose, whereas Bears had nothing to lose. Now both are in win or go home mode, and Jay Cutler will be facing a Pakcers Team on a roll.
Packers win 21-13. Steelers win 20-17.
Uh, certain Cowboys fans would disagree with that!
Actually Dallas did in...96 I think? Bill Cower’s first trip to the SB with them.
That was the year Neil O’Donnell was the best player Dallas had.
Down 4 pts with 0:22 to play, the Jets win on a Santonio Holmes fingertip TD catch in the back of the end zone, 27-24.
yikes! i ain’t et yet...
Which after a challenge has been ruled incomplete (He didn’t get his left foot down).
Steelers win 24-20
Sorry, Dallas has.
I like the predictions but I think the Steelers will win the SB, based on their past experience.
I would rather that Green Bay and Pittsburgh won, but that's based on emotion, not on logic.
As I noted in a previous post, I have the Cold from Obama and I wish that it would warm up; ice and 2 hour commutes one way don't work together.
