When I was working in Rosslyn there was this sandwich joint downstairs in our building. Back in those days I could still eat bread sometimes, but you could get the fixings salad style.

The guy had a menuboard like a Greek restaurant ~ must have been 50 different versions of everything you'd like on a sandwich.

$3.50 for top quality stuff, plus chips. Drinks were extra.

He had a young lady just past the cash register who would help you wrap up your sandwich ~ didn't speak English, but remember that first big movie with Antonio Banderas ~ Zoro? His co-star was Catherine Zeta-Jones and that's who the young lady wrapping sandwiches resembled ~ ONLY BETTER.

Lines started at opening at 10:30 AM and continued on past 2:00 PM, and sometimes later.

I have no idea where all those guys came from but some of them bought 2 and 3 sandwiches!

The Capitol Building could do worse than just hire him and his crew in!
