Two friends living in the same house, but eating in different places both got a severe attack of the runs. Anything like that going around? Mid-Atlantic region.

I live in the South and lots of people are still talking about Corexit and the Gulf Oil Spill. I wonder if this is related.

No personal experience with an abnormal stomach bug. One bad handshake, touched doorknob or fork, etc can spread a stomach bug between housemates.
This is a respiratory bug. Almost certainly airborne.

South Mississippi - all kinds of intestinal bugs running around along with all the other stuff described in this thread. I've had some form of "something" and not felt 100% for several months and I have plenty of company.
It seems that the past couple years have seen a lot more stuff running around. I can't remember a period in my 58 years that had so many forms of illness running around, for such an extended period, as the last few years.
