Yeah I know.

But all that doesn’t take place in some tiny euro vacuum that pretends to be independant.

Norway is NATO and besides all that there is no way they can fly into the area without Carrier and Naval support by the United States of America.

AWAC’s, satellite and drones. All US of A.

Seal and Green Beret spotting missions and lazing.

Support from assets in Malta, Italy, Greece, Israel, etc.

3 fighters here and 5 fighters there from NATO countries don’t operational capabilities without US. Period.

I saw where Swedishculture stuck it to the effete wannabe’.

“But all that doesn’t take place in some tiny euro vacuum that pretends to be independant.”

No one claimed otherwise. The Norwegian AWACS pilots who have been patrolling the Libyan coast flew American planes I assume, or some sort of Nato assets.

The small numbers contributed by the different nations are there mostly to put an international gloss on the operations - especially the limited arab contributions. The heavy lifting is obviously being done by the U.S, France and the UK.

Though even small numbers can sometimes make a difference. It was reportedly Norwegian F-16’s in Afghanistan who took out much of the Zawahiri clan.

In operation overlord two Norwegian Spitfire squadrons provided air superiority over Omaha beach. Hopefully they helped save a few American lives.

Cheers.
