Well, I believe throwing a coil laden jar at someone’s head qualifies as a threat of serious bodily harm. A double tap to the chest and one to the head should be the approved response.

This is the guideline from the state:

Florida law justifies use of deadly force when you are:

Trying to protect yourself or another person from death or serious bodily harm;
Trying to prevent a forcible felony, such as rape, robbery, burglary or kidnapping.

I live in Florida and do not go around looking for an excuse to shoot someone. Yes a coin laden jar could do serious injury but its quite easy to dodge.

The second to last thing I want is to shoot someone.
