What beautiful pictures from Paradise. where is Cabbage Hammock? Is it in the Panhandle. My Favorite place is Apalachacola. I hate to post it because it’s starting to get crowded at the 4 way in town. Lot of traffic at The Grill.
lol
I’m about halfway between St. Augustine and the St. John’s River, along the old Picolata stage coach road.
Amazing as always.
What a wonderful gift you have—thank you for the weekend brightner. : )
It’s amazing to me that, due to political correctness, Disney has locked away a great movie, perhaps never to be seen in theaters or on TV or on DVD here in the US.
It really gets me. Today’s TV/movie people think it’s ok for kids to see various types of sex and violence, but, they are not to be exposed to the Uncle Remus stories. They will be forever scarred by the sight of Uncle Remus, but it’s okay to see depictions of lots of other things.
Great! Love it. Thanks for the ping SWAMPSNIPER.
Here at the ranch we are just now seeing the first of the arriving Bullocks, and Hooded Orioles joining in the fun at the Hummingbird feeders with the House Finches, and the Anna’s.
This Winter we had three feeders out, and soon will increase to six to handle the Summer load. These feeders will all be reloaded daily as the volume of birds will lap up the nectar in the six feeders each, and everyday. Even as everything is in bloom all around us.
Right now we have in bloom the Peach trees, the Fruitless Plum, the Purple Tabebua’s, basically all the Citrus trees, many flowering bushes, Poppies, and so much more. It’s an incredible sight, but next month will be the show of show’s around here.
I’ll have to learn how to post pictures one of these days to share with you as you share with us.
Thanks for your lovely postings one, and all.
Beautiful captures.. Wonderful bokeh in the first two!
Stunning!
Thanks for another great show!
Oh WOW! I think these are the best you’ve taken yet! Thanks for sharing them. God bless you.
My Gawd. Absolutely stunning photography.
Thank you again.
You are one lucky guy to live there and capture those moments.
Beautiful pictures, thanks for sharing them.
Spectacular! That little bird in pic 1 and the rose almost seems to float in front of the screen, 3D like. You have quite a talent for setting up these shots with the right depth of field.
I sure enjoy the clarity and sharpness of your photos SS. Do you hand hold or use a tripod and how many shots do you take for each of these photos?
Love the blue bird shot. You nail it with perfection!
We have blue birds here- but not in town. I tried on my acre hoping it would be wide open enough they would accept the space, but no- it was still too close for them.
So- I really appreciate you posting yours.
There are places my mobility scooter won't go easily so I use focal length to get me there. The results aren't quite as good but a good lens will do a lot. I can walk, but if I try to stand holding the camera for any length of time it gets really painful and I'm not steady at all.
