In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".

usufruct (YOO-zuh-fruhkt, -suh-) noun
The right to use and enjoy another's property without destroying it. .

Example sentence:
"It is currently in the process of purchasing perpetual usufruct rights to a number of plots."
--Budlex Prepares for Large Residential Project; Warsaw Business Journal (Poland); Jan 17, 2011.

Etymology:
From Latin ususfructus, from usus et fructus (use and enjoyment). Earliest documented use: 1646.

The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-)
Practice makes perfect.....post on....

Not sure how I can incorporate usufruct into this item, but even though I would usually be happy to advocate awareness of breast-feeding, THIS is just pathetic and sad and disgusting: Breastfeeding Doll Stirs Debate

No. No they are not.

They are either:
Hopelessly out of touch.
Throughly corrupt
or they know we are already past the point of no return

i don’t think we need to prompt little girls to associate pleasure with that activity when they are little! I’m sure it’s common for siblings of breastfed babies to emulate mom with their dolls. we don’t need specialized dolls to latch on and make sucking sounds!

I don’t think it will sell well here. Of course, I always thought Betsy Wetsy was pretty crass. I think imagination is better than graphic demos built into toys.

Usufruct - What the politicians say to us daily once elected. That is the correct definition. (couldn’t help it)

In that case, maybe you could say we Americans are usufruct up the b*tt.
